    Master Cylinder differences?

What is the difference between a master cylinder for an '87 and one from an '89? Why the big price difference?

ABS, maybe? I dunno for sure. My car doesn't have ABS.

I bought an Ate for my 87 and it was $168. When it comes to brakes, steering and tires I take no prisoners. Anything else goes bad you can call a cab rather than an ambulance.

I might have figured it out...

Upon further inspection, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, it appears that the earlier master cylinder requires a separate proportioning valve for rear brake bias, and the later one does not(incorporated into the MC?).
