I am most likely ordering new brakes in the next week or so. What do you guys think of zimmerman cross drilled rotors all around and hawk hps pads with rebuilt calipers? This is kind of a spendy setup so I want to know that I am getting my moneys worth. Thanks.
good setup?

Drilled rotors are garbage. If you do any kind of track time or hard use with them they get small fractures between drillings and warp easily.
Hawk pads are good.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

If you want something better than stock, go to Tire Rack and order Frozen Rotors. They have plain and slotted. I got the plain with their Satisfied brand ceramic pads. They stop great, very very little dust, and best of all, I haven't been able to warp them after 15K miles of abuse.
Very nice!Comment
