Problems removing control arm need help asap

I am unable to get the passenger side control arm off, the problem is the upper ball joint bolt is spining with the nut. On the driver side I was able to put a jack directly beneath the ball joint and that stopped it from spinning.

I have tried numerous positions with jack but it keeps spinning. I've been working on this for hours and i'm at my wits end.

    Any suggestions?

Your best bet is to drive the ball joint into the hole and hold it there while you loosen the nut. Use the jack to push the ball joint up and and tighten the nut to seat tapered fitting, then try removing the nut. Otherwise, use a nut splitter to get the nut off and remove the ball joint.
