Unearthing this thread and subscribing for posterity. Ideally I'd love to go with one of Lee's kits but I may end up going this route for financial reasons. Any more info on the adaptors or brake lines yet?

I am also sorry to revive this old thread. I am interested in design a lower cost (but still effective performance wise) kit around the 280mm Corrado rotor, still using a radially mounted 4 pistons caliper and meant to fit most if not all 15" wheels for under $650usd, using all new shinny parts.

My first question is: How far is the Corrado rotor offset compared to the e30 rotor, and any other change needed to be performed on the rotor except enlarging its center bore?
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

          Lee,

If you're serious about this, contact me offline and I can provide you with all the info you need.

Maybe you can provide people with the brackets and hubs, and let them source their own RX7 calipers and rotors themselves.

I really, really wanted to market my RX7/Corrado setup, but I'm too paranoid about liability. Maybe that's where you come in!

from memory the e30 hat height is 34.5mm while the corrado one is 39.5mm, so 5mm extra offset. and rotor bolts on other than the centerbore

How about the audi calipers. Very similar design which should eliminate any wheel clearance issues.

A sliding caiper will always remain a sliding caliper. One, two pistons, the sliding mechanism is what sucks. Fixed calipers ofter better feel. Obviously at the expense of more required wheel clearance.

Thanks. I ordered Corrado rotors for final testing. Should have them tomorrow. I will mock-up a profile with Dynapro caliper. Brackets have been sent out for production. Won't be stainless though. Plated steel instead.

Will most likely offer packages: calipers and brackets. Or brackets alone.
