I put on Mintex pads about 3 years ago, and they were fine for a while.
One day I decided to paint my calipers. Removed the pads, put them back in, same sides and everything, and they squealed horribly. I put up with this for about a year.
Last weekend I decided to finally change them. My mechanic sold me some Pagid pads. I bedded them in according to his reccomendations. These damn things squeal almost worse than the others!
Someone suggested it could be that carrier bolt in the caliper that needs to be replaced but I dont know. Any ideas? Thanks.
EDIT: I also tried using that anti-squeal shit on the first set but that didnt do anything. My Mech says he never uses it.
