I liked my ATE powerdisks - they lasted forever and had a pretty good bite to them. But I don't know if they are really worth the premium - I can get a similar feel with a set of good pads and cheap stock rotors, and they dust way less. It took me 5 years to wear out the powerdisks though; no track use but lots of autox and 60,000 miles.

When you guys talk about brembo blanks are you referring to...
Car Parts - var parttype = gup('parttype'); var year = gup('year'); var make = gup('make'); var model = gup('model'); var iframeUrl = 'https://catalog.autobarn.net/catalog-2/'; if (parttype != '') { iframeUrl += `parttype/${parttype}`; if (year != '' && make != '' & model != '') { iframeUrl += `/${make}/${year}/${model}`; } } document.write(`Your browser does not support frames or is currently configured not to display frames. Please use an up-to-date browser that is capable of displaying frames.`);
the $34.95 ones?

I think you mean PBR pads. I was running those on the front of the alpinaclone with cross drilled rotors and Pagid somethingorothers on the rear (Saab 9-3 fitment if I recall correctly). Never ran the car on a real racetrack, but did some amatuer autox, and the brakes hauled the car down from silly stupid autobahn speeds without drama.
I don't think I would pay the extra for the cross drilled rotors. I was 19 when I bought them and was in love with the bling. That being said, those some pads and rotors are going on the new ride because there is still a lot of life left in them.Matt
