SS lines, what are you using?

I'm looking for a decent 6 peice DOT ss brake line kit - my current set is about 5 years old and due for replacement. I've been looking around and have seen a lot of 4 peice kits - not sure why this is. I'm dropping the subframe next week to do weld in TAB adjusters and would like to do the lines at the same time. I don't need anything ix specific, just whatever works on a 325i is perfect.

Thought you didn't want eBay style junk . ;)

Seriously if you are after good shizz then try the Earls or Goodrich sets .

And WTF is up with 5 lines ??!!!
I've seen a few guys only install the 4 lines and leave out the hard to get to lines at the subframe, which sort of defeats the purpose of braided lines, but never heard of just 5 .

            I didn't say anything about 5 lines - I said mine were 5 years old ;)

I'm thinking about UUC for $120.. the goodrich lines I've seen are only 4 peices?

I just ordered the Bimmerworld ones, they look very nice and have the outer protection coating also.

I'm using the bimmerworld Evo lines, and they are great. DOT approved, and come with the protective coating. Includes all 6 lines.

I didn't look at bimmerworld, but all the quality SS lines seemed to be about the same price ($120ish) - I ended up ordering from UUC.

I have the Ireland 6-piece brake line kit, and the UUC stainless clutch line. No problems at all but there isn't any snow/salt around here.

I have the Ireland kit, and it has been great - but I don't want to trust 5 year old non-covered SS lines on my first track day at Mission BC :o
