Brakes = Teh Suck, time to delete the ABS?

I think I bled it correctly, I used a lot of Krylon Silver Metallic, is that the best color?

NO!! The Walmart silver metallic is far better than Krylon paints...

Just for the record I've had gallons of Super Blue through the system, locked up the brakes a LOT and have only used a power bleeder. When I open a bleeder nipple on any one of the calipers the pedal is still hard to push down but when I crack a line ahead of the abs pump there's almost no effort required to push in the pedal.

Maybe PM Lee @ massive and pick his brain about your problem still. Sounds fishy and makes one think the ABS pump is bad.

No ABS an 4-pot willies on both ends? I can't justify the expense, I owe too many people too much money. Maybe I can squeak a front kit out of the money I have earmarked for fixing this though...

Write a email to the grass roots motorsport people. They had a article on e30 brakes not to long ago. They also said to bleed the brakes with the car on. Not so sure as to exactly why but maybe it has to do with the abs?

I've bled hundreds of BMWs in the past year without a single issue (having a power bleeder does improve things though) so I doubt it's a bleed problem on my car.

I deleted abs on my car, put on 750i MC and I run Ebc reds all around. It stops better than any car I have put it up against. I rarely have tire squeal when braking hard but it has never locked up once. Atomic has been in my car and can attest to my claims..

Without ABS, during an AutoX, going into the back corner of the lot that we use, I am able to get the front inside tire to just BARELY lock up and smokes a little. I NEVER even knew it happened until I saw some video from outside of my car.

My current plan is to pull the pump and just leave the lines where they are (slightly rebent obviously) and ad a proportioning valve in the rear. Then I have some car-related debt to pay off (S50 ftw) and we'll move on to brake kits.
