E30 brakepedal problem after installing BBK front/rear

    I have Massive's front/rear race kit for the M3 E30.

I tried to drive my car today but the pedal is very low before the brakes grab. If I pump the pedal once and brake a second time they will be ok and grab with little pedal travel.

    I have the e32 750i mastercylinder (25,4mm).

Is this normal behaviour for these kind of brakes?

    yes

you'll have to adjust front to rear brake pressures. I would search here, and call Massive. They know the best.

        NO!!!!!!

sounds like your brakes need to be bled better or your pistons are retracting. call massive before you drive the car

What the fuck? At least you mentioned to call Lee.

OP, it sounds like you need to bleed the brakes again. Doing that major of a job will cause a lot of air in the system, and it takes a few bleeds to get it out.

New master cylinder? Did you bench bleed the master?

I did not bench bleed the master cylinder - is that important?

What he said. if that doesn't work, you got a faulty MC.

If it was new (i.e. dry) then yes, it is important.

                Hope that helps you.
