    RTAB and grease

When installing RTAB's (AKG), what surface(s) would you apply some grease to eliminate squeaks? Would you also apply grease to the subframe bushing?

apply it to EVERYTHING. On the sleeve inside the bushing, the hole for the sleeve inside the bushing, the outside of the bushing an of course the holes in the trailing arms where the bushings go.

DO NOT BE SPARING WITH THE GREASE. If you can get a hold of some, get some copper based grease. It lasts a lot longer. You cant have too much grease. If you are sparing with it then you will have squeaks in no time.

    Good luck

There is a special silicone based lubricant for these...

I think (but I'm not sure) AKG supplies it with their stuff.

I had AKG bushings on my old car. The bushings did not come with grease. I used Molykote 44, a silicone grease.

I also have AKG bushings; used marine grease. So far, so good about a year into it.
