    essentric TA bushing install question

    I have these TA bushings from Bavauto Part # : 33 32 9 058 822

What I know about them is they are not adjustable but can be set to desired camber when installed. But I don't know what number to set it at. If the inside is at 12 o'clock and the outside is at 6 o'clock then that is the least camber and vise versa. When I called Bavauto that is all they knew. So Should I install them at 3 and 9 o'clock to get the middle of the camber adjustment since they don't have any degrees only 6-12o'clock??

Ah but they are adjustable. I used a second set on for the inside bushings and my alignment shop was able to get my toe setting back into spec. . And yes, they only work to adjust camber at the 6-12 o'clock positions. Setting them at 3-9 o'clock adjusts the toe. One note, before you drop the trailing arms, draw a level line on both trailing arms while the car is setting in the preloaded position. This will give you a reference line to set the bushings from.
what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.

ok but these don't have a nut on the end like some do so that you can turn them to adjust them. So I am thinking about putting them at 10 and 4. I don't want to put them at 12 and loose all of my camber just a little bit and I am not sure about the toe. I am doing this tomorrow so please help me so that i can get it right the first time

I am assuming that they used a set of needlenose vice grips to grab them and twist them. When you install them use a silicone base lubricant. It will make them press in easier and it should help you be able to twist them after they are installed. It's your car so set them the way you want them.

Thats the thing. I thought that they were the ones with the nut on the ends so they can be turned. I am not going to take it to a alignment shop unless I have to. Well I am doing it later today. I will let you know hoe it went even though it won't be driveable until i get my head back.
