My uncle's shop orders parts from WorldPac. I have their ordering software on my computer so I can order parts from home and pick them up at the shop. Fun stuff.

Brembos are good, just not cross drilled Brembos...

Just get the cheapest rotors you can get from Autozone/Pepboys/Advance. There really is no difference...it's all cast iron. As long as it's machined correctly at the factory and they fit, it's not going to matter. Brembo rotors won't be any better than the el cheapo 1 month warranty rotors you can get at the discount stores... (They can probably be had for 20-something bucks each) In fact, I've had the cheap rotors hold up better than Brembos using Carbotechs for several weekends at the track. I shit you not it doesn't make a difference.

I work at a euro parts warehouse by day and 95% of our rotor returns/warranties are on el cheapo chinese rotors. (The other 5% are on Brembos damaged in shipping.) We have never had ONE comeback for a warped Brembo.

For an interesting experiment, go weigh an el cheapo and a Brembo for the same fitment. The Brembo will weigh like a pound more because the metal is so much more dense. Also, their machining is the best in the business (unlike the other stuff - which you mention above, it would probably be fine if it was machined to the tolerances Brembo uses!)

As for your experiences, I blame the Carbotechs - and for that matter the fact that it was on your Honda, which has more front weight bias than an E30.

PS- the going rate for E30 Brembos is $30ea front / $25ea rear (if you know who to call) :D

Brembo factory non-drilled rotors are the only kind that have not warped on me. They also come with a rotor set skrew that actually fits right.
