    E30 3-series (Spec E30™ legal) swaybars

    Greetings!!!

My E30 is sitting on Ground Control Coilovers (440fr/650r) with Koni's. She was running the stock sway bars. She handled pretty good....but as you can see she still had a bit too much body roll.

UUC happens to now have SwayBarbarian's for the E30.

    UUC Motorwerks E30 3-series (Spec E30™ legal) swaybars - http://www.nexternal.com/uuc/Product713

So, off she went to Harrison Motorsports (http://www.hmsport.com) for the install.

These things are soooo nice!!! The body roll has been greatly reduced. She stays virtually flat through hard cornering. I was able to take her out to Road Atlanta for the Peachtree BMW CCA Driving School in March and was highly impressed. The car felt so planted and stable. There was almost no understeer. They are absolutely amazing!!!!

They are a 22mm front and a 19mm rear. The front is fixed and the rear is adjustable between 3 positions. Spherical bearing adjustable front and rear end links are included. And they come in a pretty silver podercoated finish!

So, for anyone wanting to improve the performance of their E30...I would highly recommend these. And...they are Spec E30 legal for you racers.

    Go get 'em!!!

The passenger side of your car has a perfect drop when going into the corner in that first pic. :)

Car looks great, I cant wait to install my sways.

Glad to hear some feedback on these. I just ordered a set last week and am planning on stepping up to your exact spring rates. Are you still M20 (I'm going S52)?

I guess you got a proto set or something being down there huh? They told me the first batch isn't shipping until next week.

He said they also come with all the reinforment plates, what were those like? I'm anxious to get mine!

Sounds good, i have Coilovers also 450/750 on my 318 and it corners flat, but since the engine may be replaced im glad that there are more options out there to keep it balanced.

I have a few UUC products on my M3 and have been happy with them. Its good to hear someone is still working on parts for the e30.

Damn, looks like much less body roll now.

What did you think of the reinforcements they include with the kit? My set was supposed to ship out today, but I haven't been charged yet so i doubt they have.

              Hey tabasco,

Can you give us a more detailed review of the UUC Swaybarbarian swaybars?
Especially how they have affected the front/rear balance, as Id imagine they make the car a fair bit more tail happy with such a proportionally large rear swaybar increase over stock size...

              Thanks mate!

This will great depend on your spring rates. I have mine on the softest setting and didn't notice a huge difference in balance. On the middle setting, there was noticeable oversteer. I didn't bother with the stiffest setting. My car is at 60/40 weight balance though, total 2410lbs, on H&R Race & Bilstein Sports, running 205mm Hankook z214 r-comps.
