Ground Control and TC Kline not responding?

    Hi Folks,

I have been trying to spend money with Ground Control or TC Kline on a rear suspension refresh, but I can't get responses from either company. Any insights? Haven't bought from GC from awhile, but their service used to be great. First time reaching out to TCK.

These have always seemed like the tried and true options, but maybe it's time to look elsewhere?

    Cheers,

    Andrew.

I was just looking at GC today. I will be interested to see what others say. I hate to blame the supply chain problems but that and the lack of people willing to work might be effecting them. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Ironically I tend to think responding to email would be the one thing the pandemic would effect the least. I even tried using different email addresses in case there were tech issues, but still nothing. I got a response early on to their webform asking if anyone has responded, but nothing from then on.

Did you check out their website? The top of the page in big red letters:

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE EXPERIENCING AN UNPRECEDENTED VOLUME OF ORDERS AND EMAILS RIGHT NOW. SOME OF OUR ITEMS ARE EXPERIENCING SIGNIFICANTLY EXTENDED LEAD TIMES. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO MEET A DEADLINE WITHIN 15-30 BUSINESS DAYS, PLEASE CONTACT US ABOUT AVAILABILITY BEFORE ORDERING. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.
GC have been busy for years (quality product), the last time I easily got someone on the phone was like 2004. But between supply chain and likely staffing challenges, that's the way it is.

When I needed some components years ago, I went on bf.c and got someone from Valley Motorwerks I believe to sell them to me as they worked with them a lot and just down the highway. VAC Motorsports and Bimmerworld sell GC, so can go for them for more response. Especially BW should know most technical answers (whereas VAC better at engines).

GC has always been bad with communication, and when you do hear from them, it's usually pretty blunt/curt/to the point. I would second Heeter's suggestion of trying to work through Bimmerworld. Their service is great and they can get you any or all of the GC parts. I don't have any experience with TCKline.

Useful to know it's normal not to get through to them. I have ended up working out a solution and alternative parts are in bound.
