E30 Z3 Rack swap completed - now vibration and groaning when turning left

    Hi all,
    Need some input.
    I have a 88 e30 sedan.
Lowered on Koni yellow and H&R sport
Sourced a '97 Z3 rack from ebay a while back and just installed it with new e36 tie rods.
Using the spacer kit from Garagistics and shortened the knuckle etc.
I am also using the Chase Bays reservoir and lines. confirmed no leaks, all 6 lines tightened properly.

Bled the system while front end was lifted and engine off
All went well... smooth steering feel back and forth...no sound. fluis level was good, about 1/2 way in reservoir
Turned on engine while car was still on jack stands and also had no issues turning back and forth.
Some fluid came out the top... and I had to take out some. Guess with pump on, more fluid is passing around.

After the car was taken off jack stands and wheels are down and engine running... tried turning steering, noticed the following:
    - groaning noise when turning left and right
    - loud vibration/groaning when turning left. Can feel it on the steering and the front end.
    - went under car and felt the vibration on the left tie rod when turning wheel.
    - the vibration was felt all over the front end.
    - driving back and forth slowly, same thing.

    So, now what?

    What I plan to do:
    - try using my oem high pressure line instead of the Chase Bay high pressure line. I read somewhere that it could be an issue.
    - get a new rack?
    - swap out pump?

I am really in search of that 2.7 lock :)

    Is it the rack?
if yes, where can i get a proper rack with the 2.7 lock to lock turn.

groaning sounds like the power steering pump. probably still has air in the system and or needs fluid.
