No, don't do this. The plates are installed correctly.

There are multiple threaded holes for the bolts that adjust the camber, relocate those bolts so you can give yourself less negative camber (ie. don't use the holes closest to the outside of the car, use the other ones).

Actually, you will have the exact same result with vorschlag because they are just a copy of what you already have. The bolt holes and spacing are EXACTLY the same as what Ground Control designed 15 years ago.

You simply need to move the bolts, use smaller washers or notch one washer to move back to centerline.

Only the Ground Control camber plate allows you to actually move POSITIVE if you turn the slider 180, but you don't have to for centerline. The other camber plates hadn't figured that out yet, but I guess the cats out of the bag now.

The new GC camber plates are light years ahead of what you have, but with just a little careful thinking you can make it move wherever you want. This is not a quality question, just the new plates you don't have to swap washers.

Thanks man, I just tried to call, but didn't get an answer. I want more positive camber, so that means I can rotate the slider plate 180* and that should do the trick? Or should I try flattening one side of the washer and moving the bolt inboard some more and see what that does?

Going to the alignment shop tomorrow so if this is something I can do before hand, I will.

        Thanks

        Sold.......again.

Also, I've read that the popping noise I'm hearing when turning a very slow speeds is caused by the camber plates binding the coils. People say this is normal, anyway I eliminate the popping? People look at me like my shit's getting ready to break down, which isn't cool to me.

          Sold.......again.

Just move the bolts and you will be fine.

Straight trade for vorshlag plates? I actually NEED the positive camber since my car is bent. :(

We'll see how it turns out, going to try either method, seems like it's not as bad to get the camber where I want it.

We'll I took it to the alignment shop and they got it from -3* up front to -1.5* so it's better, but they took out one of the bolts so the slider plate is only on by 2 bolts, this safe? The shop is VERY reputable in Richmond, so I don't think they would half ass stuff.

You will be fine with two, spinning them 180* would of allowed more adjustment and exposed additional holes.

dude just jack the car up , remove the damn bots holding the camber adjustment plate, grab the strut housing with your hand under the fender, pull the strut towards you, re-install the bolts for the camber adjustment plate, done!

Its binding because your have the shock bolt to tight and its not allowing the plate that rest on top of your springs to spin free. So your pretty much crushing the bearings.
Loosen your bolts a tad and see if it still does it...
BTW Bearing grease is your friend. Make sure you add a bunch to your needle bearings.
