Does this look normal to you?

My friend just had some suspension work done the other day and he ended up getting H&R Race springs with Koni Yellow shocks/struts.

I took a picture of what the rear springs looked like and then the overall view of the rear. Does this look right to you? The spring looks like it's too compressed but I'm not sure if that's normal. I have yet to install my H&R sport springs so i cannot compare.

The front looks fine but the rear looks slammed. Thoughts?

I dont think BTP knows what your talking about lol. Theres usually like 2(?) coils compressed like that, its designed to do that. But 4!!!.... That does not look right, it looks waaaay to low. I have no idea whats wrong with it though.

Yeah that doesnt look right.. Did he buy them for a 318 or a 325. Not that the rears should really matter.. Did he get them from ebay?

it looks to me that you have the konis set to full soft. Thats the only thing i can think of that would do that. It almost looks like you arent running shocks at all.

Looks like a pack of hot dogs. Pretty sure the coils should not be touching.

The inactive coils on the rear are in the middle. They are supposed to bind like that. I don't recall all 4 middle coils binding under the weight of the car but the end coils are the ones doing the "work". Running stock spring pads? I run Bilsteins with mine and they are great. Everyone jumped on the Koni bandwagon when GC started recommending them but I have them on my convertible with some very low springs and it feels like they are bottoming out.
