Thats interesting. They work fine for me.

      rear sleeves

      info:
E30 Rear Coil Over Kit - This is a real coil over that puts the spring on the shock. These threaded sleeves slip over the rear shocks. An inner lip prevents the sleeve from sliding down the shock. There is 3" of adjustment. These are designed to use a 1 7/8" ID spring. Springs are not included. Springs generally run about $50 each. The kit includes 2 sets of threaded sleeves, upper and lower spring perches.
      price:130$ for a pair

      info:
These are essential for a race car but also very useful for dual purpose cars as well. You can set the ride height wherever you want, and change it in only a few minutes. The threaded sleeves sit on a machined collar (provided) that must be welded to the strut. The lower perch is threaded on it's ID so you can turn it up or down to change ride hieght. The kit is designed for use with 2.5" ID springs. The springs come in 25 lb. increments and various lengths. I suggest a length of either 7" or 8". Kit includes threaded sleeves, lower spring perch, and weld on collar. Does not include springs or upper perch. Note: picture shows adjustable coil overs on one of our cars plus our 15" wheel big brake kit.

those look pretty much exactly like cosmo coilovers

in other words, made in china, buy at your own risk.

bmup. I want more feedback. Even though the craftsmanship may look a little iffy I feel that IE may be a little more reputable that Cosmo at least.

If you are trying to do a true rear coilover then you need to reinforce the shock tower otherwise you are going to blow right through it. If their picture to advertise their product looks that shitty (look at the threads) then I wouldn't be too excited about buying that product. Go for GC for the least expensive decent setup.

this sounds unsafe... But something that is cheap and could work.

Their front looks just any eBay cheapo coil-over conversion set-up.
Not to say that eBay cheapo stuff is bad ....but why pay more because IE is selling it now?

The rears may not be for everyone, you will lose space for wide tires when running a true coil-over.
Also like posted above you should reinforce the strut towers.

I'd say in either case just stick with the eBay $75 E36 set-ups.
