In a way, yes. But how much STIFFER is where one differs from the other.

The cup kit has a nasty spring rate...... it's barely any stiffer than the stock suspension, however much lower. I mean Rob can show you pictures of how bad the body roll is.

I have no regret of reaching in my pocket for $100 to buy a stiffer suspension.

The body roll of the Cup Kit can easily be dialed out with some upgraded sways and links.

        what are you running?

sometimes the better way to do it tho is run softer springs/dampers n then use thick anti roll bars to remove any roll

pics of roll are good tho..

I love my cup kit. Sure its not a race suspension, but I dont really give the fuck, I drive on the street, a stiff ass suspension would be more trouble than help. The cup kit does just fine, handles plenty well for aggressive street driving, autocrossing, etc.

the body roll issue is for people that dont know what they're talking about. Sure it looks bad in pictures, but that proves exactly nothing. I've been autocrossing for a year, and my suspension is undoubtedly not the limiting factor on this car.

Have you ever been for a ride in a car with the Cup Kit or driven one? Definitely not a 'stock' suspension.
              Definately pretty soft though.

Looks like a Pro Kit on the car in your sig.

Frankly, I would've done the Cup Kit for the supposedly smooth ride, but the increased negative camber would've required correction, and camber correction means $$$. With the Eibach's the camber's borderline. Eibachs+Konis+sways=$1100!

                  Well, at least it's tunable.

The Eibach Pro kit is low and soft.

Camber is a good thing unless all you are worried about is tire wear.

                      e304lyfe has Ground Controls.

Some negative camber is fine....I've got 1.5% Fr and 2.2% rr. Excessive neg camber can have an adverse effect on tracking. And I'm not crazy about darty cars! I've driven E30s with 3.0% neg camber. Thought it was a bit much...

                        Tires aren't free, either. ;)
