Trent, it was just funny that the last two posts I read from you were like, stiffer, stiffer, stiffer! It was just cracking me up. No offense intended!

I totally agree with you on the H&Rs. Tender springs on coilovers are OK to bind-that's what they're there for, but I just don't get the "dead coil" thing H&R does. My Eibachs don't do it, and they don't fall out when I raise the car either.

With the Eibach Pro Kit and Konis at 80% the car has a firm sort of jiggly ride. I thought it was stiff until I rode in a lowered WRX. Mine feels plush in comparison.

    Later! 8)

hahahaha. I guess I said stiffer and didn't imply what I ment. I just mean that I don't like rubber bushings. Rubber is the enemy and lets things move too much. The last thing an E30 needs is massive subframe and T/A bushings.

The drop and ride on the IE3s on a 318is is fine. The oil pan isn't in any real danger, and the ride isn't that bad. I really couldn't tell much of a difference from the stock setup and the full soft koni setup I have now (break-in). I'm going to tune the setup around spring for stiffer driving, as I don't want to push my car too hard this winter. ;)
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Yeah, but it's not dropped like most people think it should be; it's definitely lower than before.
