Best ride height to compliment 15" Ronals

Hi guys.I know there a big thread about suspension setups, but it dosnt really give me the help i need.

Im finding it hard to choose what height to go with when i lower my car.

Bare in mind im going to put 15" Ronal LS (205/55/R15's) on so i would like the car to sit pretty low, but not so low were i start to get extreme rubbing.

My initial thought was to go with somthing like 60/40,you guys do it in inches over there in the US i think, or maybe not, either way, is there anyway to get a slightly lower setup, say 70/50? Just something to compensate for smaller wheels.

I really hate seeing massive gaps inbetween the wheel and the arch, but i obviously dont want to start having to mod the car in order to get the wheels to fit nicely.

Ive looked around for weeks at everyones car, various cars with my initial 60/40 drop look awesome with 15's, then some seem to look quite a bit higher so it can be quite confusing for a first time buyer like me to try and see whats going to look/drive the best

    Thanks for any help

1.) 225/50-15 tires, ronals are a 7.5" wide wheel so 205 is a bit weeny.
2.) go with the 60/40, you won't have any rubbing problems with the ronals, and you won't be scraping the ground either. the larger tires will help fill in the fenders and won't look like goofy ass rubber bands stretched to wide wheels.

Yeh i know dude, if i could id go for 225's, but over here in the UK you cant get them as easily. Sure you can get them, but every single place ive checked that do wheel/tire packages either dont supply them, or they bump the price up a couple of hundred quid.

Hopefully 205/55 wont look too bad, but its the best i can do really :S

Would you still recomend 60/40 with those tires?

            205s look just fine!!!

Mine have left small rub marks on the struts, so I don't know if the proponents of 225s have actually run them without problems. That's with Dunlop SP5000s with the flange protectors so maybe that's what rubbed, but I think with the offset of the Ronals, 225s will stick out too much and look goofy... :P

BTW, they look particularly good with ProKit springs...

Are the Eibach Pro-Kit springs still known for their "rear sagging" or did they fix that yet?

I've had mine a month, and aside from the new spring pads bedding in and losing about 5mm, mine haven't budged. I'll be watchin' 'em, though!

Cheers for all the help guys. Would you say that 60/40 is going to look good enough, or would 60 all round suit the smaller 15's . Only problem with that those is that it loses its rake and sits quite flat.

                    Cheers

40/40 mm all the way around. My car is 60mm all the way around and it's way to low. Coming back up in the spring as it's coming off road next week.
