    Looking to lower my iX

So I want to buy new springs for my ix and this is my criteria. My car is a daily driver, so I dont wanna be scraping over the stupid speed bumps in my neighborhood. Stiff is fine, so not quite as worried about that. Also, I have 15" baskets on it right now, but if/when I do decide to upgrade to 16s or 17s, I dont want the rims to looked tucked into the fenders. I basically am willing to see the tires tucked up until the outside of the rims, but no further.

So, from the stock ix springs, how much of a drop would I be looking at? Which shocks and springs would be good for me?

H&R sports, Koni SA. Or if you're cheap, bilstien HD, but I don't reccomend that. I should warn you, modifying an ix is not cheap- it's along the same lines as an M3, because the aftermarket is so small (and some parts are just plain expensive!).

with ix H&R sports, you'll never have to worry about tucking your rims, or scraping the ground. I got about 1.5" of drop out of mine (without spring pads), it's usually between 1.25-1.5", so you won't be slammed but it will look good. with my euro weaves there's just enough room for me to stick my finger under the rear lip (doesn't rub though!).

tirerack probably has the best price for ix H&R sports, but they are out of stock right now (expecting them sometime next month). other places have them but they are about $70-$100 more. Konis cost a lot.. my whole package including shipping from the tirerack was around $800, the springs were only $220!

A guy on here is selling IE Stage 3's. Any good for me? Also, I could maybe go a little lower than you did nando, though I really do like your setup. That is, unless you have reason to not lower it anymore. I dont want to slam it, but I am looking to get as low as possible without losing aesthetics or practicality. Thanks for helping me again nando. Any further assistance would be great.
