    IRE Steering Coupler vs Stock

What is the bottom line with this? IRE is thinner. Black is about 20mm thick and the red is 10mm. Can I shim each side 5mm? Or do I need 2 of them? Or can I just use it? Or just use the rubber stock one?

I started that thread. The holes DO line up. Just a thickness issue. Might be able to just take the 5mm off the rack and column. We'll see.
