Didn't read the first post completely, I thought those were Billy shocks. What are the rates on those KYBs? I was just wondering what kind of improvements you would get over what you have on there now.

The KYBs are firmer than the billys, so less body roll than my Evo with billys. I am not sure of the rate, but I am sure the springs I mount will play a bigger factor in overall ride.

        regarding your question.

I run Holden Commodore (similar to the new Pontiac GTO) strut inserts in the front of my E30, they are 30mm shorter in length.

And have Ford Falcon shocks in the rear. These are short enough to just keep a 140mm long spring captive in the rear.
Any chance youd know the part numbers or the exact model commodore (fronts) and falcons (rear)???

ive heard that the VT commodre on the rear work well too... but u need to shorten as well..

ill have to look into the mustang as well....

        thanks in advance

        :)

ugh not sure, I'd have to pull em to look at the #'s. And self adjusting, they are billy sports.

Guys!! I bought f4-b46-1102-h0 type 10 bilsteins off eBay
did a parts looks up and they are listed for a daihatsu rocky(4x4)!
Installed them lastnight on a lowered 325is, works amazingly!!! I just need to find which commodore insert works best for a lowered application up front with high spring rates..550lbs
