yes, I have an M42. Fuzz has seen it on my car. I can post pics if you want. It doesn't have any spacers and it doesn't rub on the underhood matting, it should bolt right in.

I'm very pleased with the Hartge copy from BAS. It's much stronger than the IE bar I bought, and that's supposed to be the same as sparco.

That's the same bar Ryan Stewart is offering to trade is that one, FYI.

That looks like the one to get. I'd flat black the chrome, but I'm a weird kid. ;)

                  BAS is BavAuto?

yeah BAS is short for bav auto. It's a really good bar no hinges, and no drilling required like sparco and Ireland's bar. It's the only bar I'd use.

Hopefully these will give you an idea of clearance...the first shows the clearance from the top of the intake to the brace with the cig. lighter there for referance. The second shows how it rubs on the mat a bit.

btw, I want to paint it satin black, I think it would look much better

Only one caveat, it becomes less of a good choice if you want to run camber plates, then the Sparco or IE unit are better.

I think that the sparco and the RD both look very strong, the only thing is that the RD one goes for 230-250 and the Sparco one was going to 115 on lowendesign.

With camber plates, the RD bar will not clear the tops of your shocks if youre running Koni's.
