Awesome, thanks. I run factory-sized overall diameter tires.

my h&r sports with drop hats were lower than gc's with stock length struts and cut perches. Needs camber plates to get a little lower, or short bodied konis

Yeah, I don't want to cut my perches if I can avoid it. I'd like to run the stock perches, stock length struts, and even stock strut mounts if possible.

Is it the GC's that clunk and make noise, or is it the camber plates?

I still have the first MR2 they did back in '89, an STi and 3 E30's with full systems. None has ever made noise.

I've installed many of their kits over the years, and have yet to hear any strange noises, except when the roller bearings in the tophat of the race plates were left dry. Even then, a finger full of marine grease on the bearings solved the problem.

Yes, I'm obviously an advocate, but I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't well engineered and functional.

Not to thread hijack, but I have front pair of CG's with 375lb 6"x2.5" springs that are currently on some modified M3 front housings. Will these work on an e30? The e30 has some old school, but revalved Koni hydrolics, so i know im good on dampening. Just wondering if i can get these to fit.

You will need to remove everything from the housings, modify and re-use your old housings for it to work. Where in KS are you? I can make it happen for ya.

The adjusters are upside down and it looks like those are rear springs from an e36 kit by the shape and lbs. That would make them 2.25 and maybe why the adjusters are that way?? Should be able to get the numbers off the springs to tell.

checked the part no. off the springs, they are 475lbs. I didnt even look at the adjusters, lol! I have CG's on my Camaro and i didnt even notice this on these struts.

hey Philo, i live in Manhattan, ks. I know quite a few of the SCCA BmW autoX guys in KC. Do you know Doug Hitchcock or Chris Conant? Im not sure what im gonna do with these. Seems like a waste to get rid of them when i can put them on my e30. I'd like to just throw them on my Koni's i got on the car now without cutting the perches, but dont know how low i can get, Not really looking to slam it, just lessen the gap alittle more than stock

Were they 2.5 or 2.25 from the part#?

                        Those are 2.5's. 2.25's aren't barrel shaped.
