    Offset front control arm bushes??

so they correct castor.. but why would one need to 'correct' that?

just looking at getting some new buxhes for the front and wondering what you guys would recommend.

    some relevant specs:
daily driver, never tracked but spirted driving
    51mm struts
    lowered but not slammed
currently 17x7s fwd offset but will be putting some 15 or 16x8 et0 on there (sportmax 002) eventually

    thanks for your reccomendations!

Offset bushings dont "correct" caster unless you have some non-factory setup like a 5 lug swap or something.
BMW used the offset bushings in the E30 M3 to gain additional caster.

I had them in my E30 before I moved to the 5 lug setup and I would recommend them over the normal bushings, Increased caster will promote quicker turning/better handling

With a stock setup, the caster change will give you better turn in. More responsive bite etc when you turn the wheel.

Sorry, but that is backwards. Increased castor results in better directional stability at speed. Increasing camber and reducing toe results in more response when turning.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

When offset CAB's are added, you should probably get an alignment, right? Seems like they'd pull your struts in just a hair, causing some toe out?

^of course, any front end suspension work calls for an alignment

Positive camber, and toe out. I'm on stock suspension with M3 CABs and I've got positive camber.

Positive caster results in negative camber gain on the outside wheel when the wheels are turned. I'd say that's good for turn in, but it will affect you more in low-speed corners where the wheel will be turned further and more camber is gained.

i kinda knew what all the different alignment terms meant (thank you Play Station!) but i wasnt too sure whether they would be worth the money on a street car. think ill go for them if they arent ridiculously more than the OEM replacements. thanks guys!
