What's the Best Sway Bar Set-up?

Suspension Techniques, Ireland Engineering or Swaybarian? All seem to have a 22mm front and 19mm rear. I have a 91 e30 sedan with HR Sport springs and Bilstein HD lowered 1.25".

^^ Same and I love them. Just wish the end links would be a little better.

What don't you like the endlinks?

I run the same set and like them.

Very vague question....what are you looking for? Flat car in turns and soft springs? Stiff springs thinner sways? or adjustable.

I dont see any reason to not get the IE 25/22mm ones they the thickest ones out there. And unlike super stiff springs they don't make the ride harsh.
I have them and love them so far. Although I can't get the links short enough to make the bars flat like they should be.

The way my car rides is great, not too stiff or bone jarring, but I still feel too much lean in turns. I'm looking for value. I've seen ST combo for $350, 22mm front, 19mm rear. Not sure what the different combinations represent, bushings, links and so on, so I thought I'd ask here. I also have a strut tie bar which helps with front end stiffness. Just need flat cornering without being harsh, if harsh is the correct descriptive term.

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I understand you can have super stiff sways and it won't affect you ride because it makes a connection between your right and left side suspension travel in relation to each other. So for instance if hit a train track both wheels will move up and down the same with or with out a sway bar.

The IE kit came with hiem joint adjustable links/ reanforcement tabs for the rear trailling arm/ poly bushings/ nice thick brackets with even more reanforcements for drilling into the trunk.
                  All that was about $440.

Then you need to invest in some adjustable ones. I had to do the same when I added my ST/Jstock combo. So I originally went with Eli's that he sold. But they froze so I purchased some from TMS when they had a sale on them one day.

There are no "best" bars. It depends what you use the car for, your driving style, etc...

The typical kit is 22f/19r. For this, the UUC kit seems to be one of the highest quality, considering it includes Aurora adjustable end links and all of the reinforcements, including trunk reinforcements for the rear, weld on trailing arm tabs, and front subframe reinforcements. From what I understand, IE charges $100 more for their trunk reinforcements, and ST doesn't even offer them. I have the UUC kit, and it is great. Installation was a breeze, unlike stories I've heard about the ST kit.

So are your sways pointed upward at a 35 degree angle?
