    Strut Housing Question

    1988 325IX

So most of my threads on the front strut housing are gone to hold on that threaded ring that holds down the shock. I want to put in my Koni single adjustables but I wont have many threads on that ring. Anywhere between 3-4 threads What do I do?

you could cut the tops of the tubes off, and weld on the tubes from any E30 (except 84-85 cars).

Yea that should work just fine anyhow that part of the strut tube doesn't see a lot of stress. Good luck man.
