For those of you w/ GC and Billy Sports

In order for you guys to get a pretty low stance did you have to cut any coils off the springs or not? Assuming you didnt weld on the spring perch lower.

When using Bilstein sports you can't weld the perch lower. I don't advise cutting GC springs, just sell the ones you have and buy new ones from GC @ the length and rate you want. It's decently low, but not slammed. Cutting one of the bumpstop ribs out of the front dampers will allow for a little more clearance to go lower.

Short body koni shocks and cut strut housings.
Your not really going to get low tucking wheel unless your running a bigger wheel and tire setup that is bigger then the stock wheel and tire setup.

Ground control coils, all the way down in the rear and for the front I dropped the perch an extra half inch. So I think I welded it 3 inches from the top of the housing and thats all the way down.

So you think I could get away with welding the perch and inch down from the stock perch height?

Also why did the guy in this post say I couldn't drop the perch on Billy sports? Sorry for all the questions just don't want to put everything back on the car just to realize I need to do it all over.
