    Nice.

Reminds me of a friend's S10. His brother had it before him and lowered it, my friend put it back to "stock" height. And it has mad rake, I laugh so hard at him when I see it.

front - slamed plastic bumpers looks cool

rear - 4x4 diving boards look silly

If you guys ever watch option or best motoring videos, the technical data sheets always show that the front abosrbers are actually stiffer than the rear.

A drift car is always set for understeer, so when they power over, it is more of a 'showy', longer drift.

Ken Nomura's car is one of the few exceptions lately, though, his new setup is tuned for extreme oversteer, allowing him more precise control for more technical drifts.

I got them from an individual I know who was parting out his Cabrio. They have about 8k miles on them.

Nah, you weren't. Read it again, the stiffer front dampers encourage push, and that's what he mentioned. The drifters set it up that way, but it actually discourages oversteer.

Basically, the stiffer the suspension, the more the tire wants to slide as it can not move up and down as easily and compensate for the variations surface of the road. With softer suspension, the tires stay on the ground more, creating more grip. With stiff suspension, the tires have a tendency to just slide over the ground and not grip as much. So stiff suspension in the front would make the front slide = understeer.

Of course, this is very lamens term, and there is a lot more to it then that, but it gets the point across. ;)

I did this exact same thing when I swapped out suspensions back in like '98. Got the front done and ran out of weekend to do the rear end. Drove it like that for two weeks, it was a badass look, made the headlights real effective too.

Stiffer rear end makes the car twitchier and want to swap ends quicker, it creates more natural oversteer. In normal driving/racing mindset, this produces a "drift".

The "dorifto" queers set their cars up to push heavily and have a numb and soft rear end. (hehehehe..he said "queer..numb and soft rear end" beavis) This prevents the car from naturally wanting to swap ends, and allows for liberal throttle usage and abrupt steering inputs without spinning the car on command. Ideally, you'd want the car to be fairly quick to oversteer, instead, "drift" cars plow, and only really oversteer when coaxed heavily with the right foot.
