Too many unknown variables to say the car should have XX rates, maybe I want to just tour around in comfort and enjoy life.:)

You should be going stiffer in the rear.

I was at 440/550 - then found a spring rate calculator for the e30 and found I should have been at a 750 in the rear (if using a 440 up front).

Bought 750 rears and the ride was MUCH more balanced. She stuck in the corners like glue.

I'm selling a complete GC rear kit with 650 springs right now. If you're interested, click the sig.

I went with the same 400/550 rates,my kit should be here in a day or two.I have no intentions of using it for autox or track days, only backroad cruising on weekends.
Besides my track only toy is way way faster than pretty much any E30 will ever be.;)

csermonet, man you just owned this thread with that pic! i hate you for making me want the Full GC kit again too lol that kit will run out around $1000 more for me than BC Racing coils though :/

what rates did you go with? GC recommended 440lb all round but that sounds too soft to me. i was thinking around 575-650 front and 750 rear

Oh man, please get some more pics up!

15mm drop hats, IE springs, Bilstien sports. Not nearly as stiff as some people say it is, but its definitely noticeable over worn out stock pieces :)

It's an illusion. The plastic bumper cars have lower rear fender arches.

I've had lots of lowered cars in the past. There is such a thing as too low. Not just for comfort, handling will absolutely suffer. When ever I see a car with a slammed suspension, one word comes to mind - POSER. Honda, BMW, it doesn't matter.
