They do the job, typically you will be a good bit lower than H&R race with drop hats. Here is my first e30 back in '08 on GC conversion with Bilstein sports:
He is talking about those^Leave a comment:

For the guys who are running the GC semi-coilovers, are you talking about the coilover conversion kit that is just the adjustable sleeves that are around $400? And if so how do you like them?Leave a comment:

Thanks, I think we are about the same height now and I was referring to if your 205/50/15 your overall tire diameter is a touch less than mine. Im on vogtlands now with IE spacers out back to raise it up. Im definitely needing stiffer springs and I was hoping to bring the front down a touch, but its not the priority.

here's another pic for ya, personally i don't wanna go any lower, i still brace for impact sometimes when i see a bump or whatnot late. haha. I have excactly 4 fingers clearance under my pan. I run condor's motor mounts if that makes a differance not sure.Last edited by meengreene30; 08-08-2013, 09:15 AM.Leave a comment:

yes e90 drophats give you 15mm(1/2 in.) most people cut a coil off ie3's cause of reverse rake on a late model. the 225's are a wider tire, won't make you lower. soo many setups run on here, do some searching i'm sure you'll find something you like.Leave a comment:

I was about to get race or ie stage 3 w/ e90 drophats but was hoping for more low. I noticed your on 205/50 and I would be 225/50 so maybe that would make up some.Leave a comment:
