I have an M-Tech II steering wheel, and since I bought it, I simply cannot get it to line up straight. Everytime I try to adjust it, it's still sitting crooked, either to the left or right. Has anyone else had this problem? How do you fix it? It's making me nuts!

i had the same problem josh. the trick is to find a nice empty road ( shouldnt be hard in bend) and drive slowly in a striaght line @ 5-10mph at the most. Loosen the nut and put the steeringwheel on straight. Then tighten it down, wala straight steering wheel. -
I tried Mot's suggestion, went out for about 20 minutes up and down a straight road, and still cannot get it straight. It's like there's ONE spline in between just a bit too far right and just a bit to far left, and if I try to put it there, it just won't go on. This is making me NUTS.Comment

I'm going to do an alignment when I do my suspension at the end of the month, maybe that will fix it. I seem to remember someone, I think it was Jordan, saying that could be the problem.Comment
