    Question about spring pads???

This is for my E46 sedan. I've rubbing issues in the rear passenger side only. If I want to raise it ever so slightly to make the rubbing stop can I double up the spring pads in the rear or try and find thicker ones? Once I do this , do I put the new pads on the top and bottom of the spring or just one side? :)

    Thanks, ABE

E46 spring pads are pretty much exactly like E30 pads. yes you can double them up, although you may have to modify the one you're adding in by cutting off the nub so the other one can poke through it. have fun working on E46 suspension though...

E46 suspension is'nt too bad. Its much like an e30. I did my CABs and lowering springs. Would I acheive more height by doubling the pads on one end of the spring only?

yep! two pads on each spring would probably be too much anyway.
