Any spring rate you want. You also have the option to run inboard or outboard rear setup. No other manufacturer offers this setup with NO extra charge.

What else do you want to know?

One great things about Gaz the company, when they say it will be done in two weeks. Its done in two weeks. Unlike AST USA distributor, they'll says you have the in 2 weeks but you have to wait 2 1/2 MONTHS. Then when your friend post how much a local shop is willing to sell it to him for, these USA distributors come down on this shop and force him to up the price by 250 bucks. So my experience with USA distributors for AST is sour. Thus I chose another track PROVEN coilover system. Gaz is the title sponsor for BMW and Ford racing series in the UK. Just google them and you'll find build threads where they used GAZ coilovers. They are not a new company, their primary market is everywhere but here.

Here are some photos of my setup. Check out the craftsmanship of the welds. Note: the tubes do extend well into the knuckle.

Why do the rear shocks seem so short?

I didn't realize the GAZ is a rear coilover. You will need their RSM to take the force exerted. Any clearance issues with the rear coilover?

Apparently they offer a non rear coilover setup as well for the same price. That's what I would be interested in.

XvillaiOusx, you're running the gold coil overs? What about the other, more dd friendly setup? I'm seriously considering these right now. What are the advantages of a full coil over rear over the traditional damper/spring setup?

And those $125 RSMs are way overpriced. IE sells them for $75 and GC has a set for around $100 I think.
RPM/Gaz claims to have "on the shelf" setups ready to go. From my prior VW experience, FK is a pretty large company and may have sets on the shelf as well. This is how KW does it, so I don't think FK's are exactly made to order...I could be wrong though.

I also wouldn't mind paying a little extra for the RPM/GAZ mounts to ensure everything works as intended. Especially when the price of the setup is considerably lower than everything else.

Gaz does customize your setup per your wishes for No extra cost!!! Yep you heard me correct. As you can see by my set up I have e36 ARB welded on. Any size spring was available to me. What other manufacturer offers this with no extra charge?

If you want E30 ARB tabs welded on to your GC, AST or what ever, you have to pay for the part and pay to have it up on.

If you choose GC I'd rather you just go to this website and buy the perches and stuff. Get a set of adjustable Koni and you spec your own springs and save $$$

If you get ASTs your limited to GT, GTS and another option I think of predetermined spring rate. Anything else you have you pay extra for. M3 tabs.... extra.

Where Gaz is a turn key solution. ISO9001 certified. So what does that mean? They say it will be done in two weeks. Its done in two weeks. Where as AST they say 2 weeks but they mean 2 MONTHS, and they ship it to your order in pieces! actual fact example:after 2 months of waiting, you receive your kit. Sorry, your rear springs are still on back order. WTF you still have to wait some more?

I emailed rpm regarding the gaz kit, still waiting on a reply though. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me so far.

Did someone with real racing experience (not amateur) have tried any of these coilovers?

I realize this is an ancient thread - however - does anyone have any further reviews on the konigsport kit?
