    stock springs in rear?

i installed H&R sports all around, and my car is sitting lower than i like in the rear and i am scraping the shit out of my cat going in and out of my garage. how bad would it fuck my handling if i ran the sports up front and the stockers in back? i don't track, but i do rip mulholland from time to time, so if it will royally jack up the weight dist in cornering i'll pass. just looking to make it more drivable. some pics, even though you all know how it looks \/

you could try the thicker rear spring pads. They will raise the car I think ~10mm or so.

that may do the trick. i took the car up to the canyons today and where it used to oversteer on the stock springs it's understeering on the H&Rs

              That sounds too low

Check your motor mounts and especially the muffler hanger that is on the rear crossmember.
You can use a 13mm wrench and slide that hanger up pretty far sometimes, and that is pure clearance for the cats.

i replaced my hangar when i put in the springs and adjusted it all the way up. i'm also having trouble with speedbumps if i don't take them really slowly. i took a pic of the rear springs and they are packed really tightly. is that how they're supposed to look...?

I wonder why your springs are all binded up like that?

I don't know! I bought them used on r3v and am wondering if I bought a worn set...although if that's the case it's pretty severe

Yup, that's how H&R's normally look. Did your spring rubbers look okay? Did you replace the rear shock mounts?
