Help with 88' IX struts !!!

Ok so i got this kyb set up on ebay casues i need struts bad and don't have much money so i went to put them on and they are way to long there like 17 inch's when the stocks ones are like 14" so where can i find the right ones. I always thought all late e30 struts inserts were the same but i guess not, so where can i get the right ones

You bought the wrong ones, the regular e30 and ix are not the same.

so whats the cheapest i can get for an ix to get me through the winter.
