I'll throw in my $0.02
email i just recieved from the JOM contact in London
Hi, spring rates quoted from the JOM catalogue are 890kg and 1030kg Attached is a big picture. Please remember to state which are saloon and which if any are touring or cabriolet versions when ordering. Thanks. Les
Gripe #2 is that those springs are proprietary. I'm sure you can manage to shoe horn other springs in there if you wanted to, but you shouldn't have to mod it to fit generic springs. I contacted D2 a long time ago about their "coilovers" and they only sold 2 sets of spring rates. What if I wanted something else?
I have no idea about the dampers, I don't even want to get into that.
I guess if you just want ride height changes, this works.
Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!Comment

Not the greattest pix but this is what I have:
JOM shocks/struts next to Eibach pro springs
(the paint is really thin and scratches easily but otherwise the shocks/struts are in great condidtion.)
(my own box; did not ship this way)
Will get comparison pix when I swap them in over break as soon as next week.Bronzit 4-door Swap Drifting somewhere

Any way to get just the springs and adjusters themselves without the shocks?Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

i had jom coilovers on my vw and i liked them. i didn't get them from ebay though, i got them from preformance cafe. either way they were stiff and would go way lower than i needed. i know that probably doesn't help since i dont have a bmw car review, but i was pleased with the companies product so maybe that helps.Comment

1. Yeah, no kidding these $300 junk coilovers aren't a fully-customizable track setup...some people do just want to lower their car for looks.
2. With that said, they don't even seem to do that well. The good news is apparently when it comes to suspensions, the current e30 crowd's cheapness knows no bounds.Comment
