That's pretty low for an e30 considering the stock height is a good 5-6 inches of fender gap. Especially on the rears of early models.
If you want shocks that will last on a low car, yes, sports are the only way to go (or konis but im to cheap to get sports why the hell would I even mention konis). It's pretty disappointing.
I am probably going to be putting some cheap ass shocks on and raising my car up a hair lower than stock. I am really over the whole lowered thing. It makes daily driving a real pita.
And im pretty sad that those wheels were a scam, guys posting on a local tampa forum while in cali and wants a money order hahahaha. 360 shipped for 4 bbs rms in mint condition? To good to be true!

^That. Where you guys all on the Tokico springs? I think they are specifically designed to run at that height. Any lower and they bottom out.Leave a comment:

If you are putting in on the track at all... I mean at all... don't get the Tokico's.
If you are just using it in the daily... Tokico's work fine. I put Tokico's springs/struts on my wife's daily eta. She has been rocking them for a year now and LOVES them. I mean LOVES them. The ride is firm, but still OEM feeling... like a sport suspension on an e46 would feel.
That said, I have H&R Sports paired up with Billie sports on my turbo car... and it is much more my style in handling/ride. Too stiff for most people who are used to stock suspensions, but not too stiff to be jarring teeth loose going over a poor road.
In summation, daily only = tokico's fine
My tokicos never saw track or even a canyon run and lasted a few months tops. Ask E30_fiend how destroyed that shock was when we pulled it out tooLeave a comment:
