    Packing strut mounts with grease...

So, I'm gonna be installing my strut assemblies tomorrow with new strut mounts.

Can I just use good ole' MultiPupose Lithium grease from Schucks to grase the bearings up? It's the same stuff I used on my throwout bearing and stuff when I installed my new clutch.

Can I just grease up the bearing with that grease and call it good?

    Thanks in advance ;)

I used CV joint grease on mine, it's held up for 2 years. I'm not sure if lithium grease holds up to the elements. anything is better than what was probably in there though (nothing). mine were full of small rocks and grime!

Where can I pick up some CV Joint grease?

Yea, right now they are brand new, so nothing. I suppose I could always grease them more later.

But, where could I get that CV Joint grease from?

I don't think you'd neccesarily need CV joint grease. disk brake grease would probably work just as well and it's easy to get. it just needs to be heavy enough that it won't wash away and also not evaporate.

Ohh, so the grease we put on brake caliper pins would work?

I have that, so I will use that instead.

          Good deal! :D
