    IE, but thats a good amount of money for sways IMHO but Im poor so factor that in, haha. I would go with IE. Call them up and ask, they are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products.......well for the most part.

      yeah its up in the air, some say that the ST kit is better and i would much rather buy the IE kit, but for the value, the ST kit is still winning IMO.

        I think the IE kit is actually a better buy as it comes with the reinforcement kit, I don't think the ST does.. the IE reinforcement is also supposed to be excellent.

            i just installed the ST sways, VERY Easy install, and they do come with reinforcements. Im very happy with them now, and they are still on the softer setting. Once I finish up the front in the next few days ill dial everything in. For the money, go with ST. Just because you have 500 dollars doesnt mean you have to spend it all.

              just wondering, as i'll be doing swaybars in the next month or two... are the reinforcements bolt-in or weld-in? i was under the impression that it was a weld-in procedure, something which i am certainly not able to do at this time.

                ive heard differences on whether or not they are weld in. They are basically two large triangles that act as big washers, i assume they could be welded together/onto the trailing arm, but ive also heard that its not neccissary to weld them. I figure i can always go get them welded nextime my car is down at the shop.

                  Assuming that rear bar doesn't snap the trailing arm tab off before then. Those tabs need to be welded and triangulated for strength.

                  I'd get the IE's if you have money to spend on swaybars. They're much better than the ST's, and it's a more complete package. The swaybars are 25mm/22mm (ST's are 22/19), and they're hollow (lighter). They come with adjustable links for the front and slide-adjustable rear links, and HD rear trunk mounts.

                  ST's are about $125-150 cheaper than IE's, but the difference in quality and completeness of IE's package makes it a better buy, IMO.

                  If I could go back, I'd get IE..

                      I just installed the IE sways front & rear (25mmF & 22mmR), as well as the rear shock tower reinforcements and subframe & trailing arm poly bushings. I think they work really well. I adjusted them to full stiff front and full soft rear because the rear's a little nervous on my car and I like a real neutral chassis for high speed sweepers on track days. I don't notice ANY extra noise or vibration. The rear sway require drilling through the trunk floor to install, but not hard to do. IE has the instructions posted. Very well made.

                        I also installed IE's on my car.

                        i'm having an issue with the rear one.
                        at least on the cabrio the bar is a bit wider than the frame rails, so, i set the links as short as possible so the bar sit away from the rails.
                        if I extend the link then it will rub against the half shaft.
                        Extending the link raises the bar but i greased the bar to bushing area and it now swings freely up and down.

                        Spoke with Jeremiah at IE and i'm driving down to see him on tuesday, just don't feel comfortable and i'm about ready to remove the links and hold it up with zip ties for the drive.

                        any advise will be appreciated it

                        For you ST guys, oem front cabrio bars are 22mm thick.
