i ordered some lowering springs from a website money went out springs never came and couldnt get ahold of anyone so my question is how do you cut e30 springs or how should i go at doing this right
dremel and a heavy duty re enforced cutting wheel. dont have your hand in the way of the spring when it pops up. yes, theyre still in the car. ghetto, but works and its the easiest way.

Queue: "the cut your springs" "don't cut your springs" debate
I personally owned a Honda that had cut stock springs and it wasn't so bad of a ride but others will deff argue with this as some cars absolutely suck donkey dick with em! Never seen an e30 done this way and I didn't think you could cut the back ones as they are the larger fatter coils and wouldn't fit in the perch if you cut off the smaller ends (yet I may be wrong if so please correct me)? But the front can be done. Just wouldn't recommend cutting but a half coil at a time to make sure you don't end up on your bump stops. I know it's alot of work to do so this way but your trying to save yourself from buying springs again right?
If you can't afford springs and shocks, well save up or wait untill you can afford it. Dodgy buget DIY modding is a equal to dodgy buget DIY safty, and no matter what safty is number one. Not for you but for who ever is in the car with you or might be driving your car.
