I'm wondering how ride quality is with these super sport springs compared to the regular sport springs? I don't want anything too harsh but welcome the extra drop... can anyone chime in?

I'm bumping this thread because I got an email from ECS tuning today and it piqued my interest:
H&R Super Sport Springs for E30
For people who just want to go low, this might help save $100 instead of going with race springs

From what little I've read about them they are similar rates to Sport springs with a drop similar to Race springs. Sounds like a bad idea to me. As you go lower you need to go stiffer to keep from bottoming out all the time. Think of the people who already say they bottom out their shocks with H&R race, now imagine if there wasn't the stiffness of the race springs to keep them from compressing so much. You woul dbe beating the hell out of your shocks and be close to bottoming out on every road imperfection you encounter. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.
