Anyone use H&R super sport springs?

I'm wondering how ride quality is with these super sport springs compared to the regular sport springs? I don't want anything too harsh but welcome the extra drop... can anyone chime in?

They do not make that spring in an E30 application.

Why?! Even if I take race I'll still be going home, just with a crushed anus

So you do see the added benefit.

I'm bumping this thread because I got an email from ECS tuning today and it piqued my interest:

H&R Super Sport Springs for E30

For people who just want to go low, this might help save $100 instead of going with race springs

I want to see someone install these super sport springs on their e30 so I can see how the drop looks.

they are probabley somewhere in the middle of sports and races in terms of spring rates and drop

From what little I've read about them they are similar rates to Sport springs with a drop similar to Race springs. Sounds like a bad idea to me. As you go lower you need to go stiffer to keep from bottoming out all the time. Think of the people who already say they bottom out their shocks with H&R race, now imagine if there wasn't the stiffness of the race springs to keep them from compressing so much. You woul dbe beating the hell out of your shocks and be close to bottoming out on every road imperfection you encounter.

hmm thats not smart i just figured they would put the rates smack dab in the middle of the sports and races

1.6F and 1.6R drop is the same as sports. Correct so depending on the rate might be ok.

Trying to go low is bags or coilovers KW's and Vogtland are lower.
