    Cutting stock springs

    How much can you cut without screwing up stuff biggest fear is cutting to much on the rear

      Cutting springs bad. This isn't 1962, you are better off buying a set of used sport springs, no matter how many miles are on them, if you want to keep it cheap.

        You can cut the front springs, but I wouldn't recommend it. You cannot cut the rear springs though.

          all I would do is cut a 1 coil maybe only half on the rear and for the front a coil maybe 2 I got a family friend in Long Beach Cali who owns a shop called ERP he builds Team Porsche suspension sometimes they cut there springs to get a stiffer spring rate

            you're better off ditching the pads in the rear and not cutting the springs. you'll get about the same amount of lowering without destroying your springs...

              Cutting aftermarket non tapered springs and oem tapered springs are too different animals.

              Sold it.
