    318 springs vs. 325 springs

As the title states, is there any difference in the springs, are they interchangeable?

    Thanks.

Spring rates are different. If you put 325 springs on the 318, it will ride high and stiff. This is referring to OEM springs.

I have 325 H&R Sports on my 318is and it's pretty damn low.

I have 325 H&R Sports on my 318iS as wel, and it rides pretty nice. My parents don't complain when I have to shuttle them around in the car which is a bonus (my main concern with going with H&R Race).

What about the converse though. Will it ride like garbage with 318 springs on a 325 car? The rates on the 4cyl springs have got to be softer.

There's gonna be a slight difference that you probably won't really notice.
