    I'd like to go lower...

    I own an 1990 318is.
Right now I'am using Eibach springs and dampers, that lower the car around 40/30.

Now I would like to go abit lower, without buying new springs and dampers again.
Is there anything I can do about it, or is the only way by using different springs.
I would be happy if the car drops atleast alittle more.;)

    Thanks in advance...

You could play with spring pads or drop hats. Could always do a little snip snip on the springs too, although I wouldn't advise it on the rears.

Take the pads out and chop the fronts. I really would NOT advise the rears anyway hahah.

Could always try and shrink them like a lowrider, but who knows how they would perform.

Ya just ditch springs all together. Just ride on the bump stops. Thats the best free mod eva. I however, wouldnt listen to me my car is not low enough by forum standards.

Bumpstops are made rubber for a reason, they're still bouncy with no springs

                Im with this guy ^^^^^

There really isn't much you can do in the rear with the exception of pulling out the rear pads. At the MOST, it will lower the rear about 1/4". The spring pads are pretty thick but they ARE rubber so they compress quite a bit.

If the Eibachs are similar to the H&R sports(am I wrong?), you could get a pretty nice drop out of just doing all that. As E30_Fiend said, back won't go much lower, but it will still fix that reverse rake get you lower in the front!

Naw man, the EIbachs fuggin DUMP the car. That was my first setup. H&Rs are a mild drop. Not only are they way low, they are crazy soft.

OP, I suggest cutting your bumpstops so you dont blow your shocks. The eibach kit sits way too low to be that soft. Its asking for problems IMO

Has nothing to do with what I'm reading here by others.
But I've seen some very cool and low e30's here, and I really love that look.
Not talking about insane low, but lower.

Thanks for all the tips so far guys.

Get coilovers. You're in germany so look at KW V1s or V2s if you want damper adjustment
