don't think that it's any different for the vert models, though, right?

edit: part number is same for all models (excl iX)

    same ones...
cabrio is vert.... verts tend to sag in the rear thus they are a lil taller.

It not just high. Its appears to be raked as well. I have some eibach prokit rears if you still need to even them out.

    Shocks

I installed the same combo. I think the springs are ok but the KGB shocks are terrible. My 318 vert have the same issue. I am going to install some Billy sports and see if the look and ride is better

they're super soft. I'm sure not as soft as stock, but I haven't been in a car with stock suspension in nearly 4 or 5 years, and these feel REALLY really soft. Nice for DD though, especially when you have a car illiterate girlfriend and you're also transporting items for work.

Interesting that when you go to H&Rs website, or Eibach, they list all of the e30s EXCEPT the 318 Cabrios.

Regarding the Vogtlands and KYBs, anybody have issues with them? I know they are not H&Rs and Bilsteins, but for a daily, non-autocrossed driver, would they be acceptable?

A 5.5" 750lb spring would actually sit quite nicely with just spring pads. Or you can get 2.5" spring centering pads from ireland. But i don't know if your shocks could take it.

maybe I should just carry around a bunch of stuff in my trunk at all times. like, 300lbs worth of stuff. maybe I'll store a vert top in there...

I've been (literally) jumping on the rear end ever since they've been installed.
    I mean, I know I only weight 130-140lbs, but c'mon.

I have the same set of springs and i had me and another person sit on the trunk area and "jounced" the rear end.. ended up settling an extra inch or so after that.... i always do this now when i do and work to the rear end.
