SRS Airbag Indicator Flashing after installing shocks/spring

    Hey,

Sorry if this is a lame question. I did a search and didn't find the answer so here goes:

I took my '92 325ic to have Bav Auto Springs and OEM Boges installed. The shop installed ok, but the SRS Airbag was flashing (and still is).

Is this a common occurrence when installing a new suspension?
    Is this a quick fix?

I took the car back and the head mechanic said the SRS has nothing to do with the suspension. I'm guessing there's a sensor for the airbag near the front suspension that they messed with.

    Thanks,
    Jon

The connector for the SRS sensor on the front fender well is very similar to the ABS connector. $5 says one of them got disconnected on accident.

It is now their responsibility to reset the light.
