    I agree that it is easier to do it off the car. Just be sure to find a tie rod and ball joint puller so you don't damage the boots.

      You can just hammer them out of the strut housing. And BMP has urethane boot covers if you happen to damage one.

        I hope other people have better luck hammering them out than I did. I ended up using a fork and beating the shit out of it to get them off. Only needed one new boot.

            Impact is a must for the strut nut.

            Changing springs is very simple, provided that you have the proper tools.

            For those of you having trouble pulling the tie rod ball joints off...you can simply unscrew the outer tie rod. BE SURE TO MARK IT so your toe isn't screwed up when you bolt it back on.
